Job Summary

To facilitate access to healthcare services, the part-time Patient Registration Specialist II will manage patient registration activities, including verifying demographic and insurance information, financial screening, and coordinating financial arrangements in a hybrid remote environment from Tuesday to Saturday.

Key responsibilities

• Verify patient demographic and insurance information while screening for financial responsibility and potential cash collections
• Assist in training and mentoring new employees, ensuring adherence to quality assurance standards
• Serve as a resource for patients and healthcare professionals, providing accurate information to enhance patient satisfaction and reimbursement

Required qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Three years of experience in billing, financial screening, insurance verification, collections, or customer service
• Knowledge of patient coverages and funding types is preferred
