Patient Screening Research Coordinator

Job Summary

Combining clinical judgment and operational precision, the full-time Patient Screening Research Coordinator will engage in patient outreach, assess eligibility for clinical trials, and maintain documentation while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review clinical trial protocols and conduct medical record assessments to determine patient eligibility
• Utilize electronic medical records to identify potential study participants and maintain recruitment lists
• Conduct direct outreach to patients, educating them about research opportunities and scheduling visits

Required qualifications

• Clinical background or experience (e.g., RN, LPN, MA, CRC, or equivalent)
• Ability to read and interpret clinical trial protocols and medical records
• Proficiency with EMR systems and experience with CTMS or research tracking tools
• Prior experience in patient screening, recruitment, or enrollment for clinical trials
• Experience in a fast-paced clinical environment, particularly in cardiovascular or specialty clinics
