Job Summary
To support patient-first healthcare, the full-time Patient Service Specialist will create exceptional experiences for patients and families by managing check-ins, co-pay collections, and scheduling, all while working remotely Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm or 8:30am to 5:00pm.
Key responsibilities:
- Welcome and check in patients, collect co-pays, and assist with visit preparations
- Investigate and resolve patient issues using the HEART model to ensure a positive experience
- Perform patient registration, scheduling, and maintain confidential patient information
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED with two years of relevant experience, or an Associate's Degree with one year of experience, or a Bachelor's Degree
- Working knowledge of PC window applications
- Basic math skills sufficient for processing insurance co-pays
