Patient Services Representative

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Patient Services Representative will manage the processing of accident claims while working remotely, ensuring effective communication between clients, hospital staff, and insurance payers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and hospital-related physician offices
• Obtain necessary information and documents from various entities responsible for payment of hospital bills or claims
• Learn and implement client-specific protocols while escalating complex accounts to management as needed

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of experience with EMR/EHR systems; EPIC software preferred
• 1+ years of experience registering patients in a hospital or provider group setting
• Experience with MVA claims or health claims, including Medicare, preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook, and Excel, preferred
