Patient Services Specialist

Job Summary

To support Radiology Services, the full-time Patient Services Specialist will schedule patients, manage Epic orders and referrals, and maintain a professional work environment while working remotely within a two-hour commute to UW Tower.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule patients with a focus on safety and accuracy, reducing healthcare errors
• Create and manage Epic orders and referrals for radiology exams, ensuring proper coding and patient registration
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency and departmental goals

Required qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent
• Two years of experience as a Patient Services Specialist 2
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for minimum qualifications
