Patient Services Specialist

Job Summary

To support comprehensive patient care, the full-time Patient Services Specialist will manage scheduling, registration, and financial account services, including insurance verification and referral management, in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate all aspects of patient care, including registrations, referrals, and procedures
• Manage patient financial accounts, including benefit assessment, pre-certification, and pre-authorizations
• Ensure accurate documentation and information is uploaded to the EPIC system

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of medical or clerical experience involving customer service
• Proficiency in computers, typing, and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient scheduling processes
• Ability to interact professionally with diverse individuals and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
