Payer Contracting Executive

Job Summary

Leading payer negotiations end to end, the full-time remote Payer Contracting Executive will focus on expanding payer access across commercial, Medicare Part D, and Medicaid opportunities while developing and executing a payer access roadmap to maximize patient access and protect margins for the specialty pharmacy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead negotiations for rates, terms, and network participation with payers
• Develop and execute a roadmap for expanding payer contracts and investigate new network opportunities
• Coordinate and oversee the contracting process, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other graduate degree preferred
• 5 years of experience in payer contracting, managed care, or specialty pharmacy
• Experience negotiating payer or network agreements, preferably in specialty pharmacy or managed care
• Working knowledge of commercial, Medicare Part D, and Medicaid payer environments
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician or relevant industry certification preferred
