Payer Contracting Specialist

Job Summary

To accelerate payer contracting efforts, the full-time remote Payer Contracting Specialist will manage provider data integrity, audit payer directories, and support contracting and credentialing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Own provider data integrity across all systems, ensuring consistency and accuracy of payer records
• Audit provider appearances in payer directories and pursue necessary corrections for visibility
• Research and interpret payer policies, documenting requirements and resolved escalations for future reference

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in provider data management, revenue cycle, or healthcare administration
• Self-directed with the ability to manage tasks independently and follow up proactively
• Strong analytical skills focused on identifying root causes of issues
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in provider data submissions
• Comfortable communicating with payers and navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
