Payer Enrollment Specialist

Job Summary

Ensuring timely and accurate enrollment of healthcare providers with major insurance vendors, the full-time Payer Enrollment Specialist will manage payer enrollment functions, coordinate with the medical credentialing team, and resolve enrollment issues in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Complete and manage payer applications for initial enrollment and re-enrollment, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations
• Collaborate with the medical credentialing team to update provider enrollments and resolve inquiries related to payer enrollment
• Accurately maintain provider information in enrollment systems and generate reports on enrollment progress and compliance

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED or 3 years of relevant equivalent experience in lieu of Diploma / GED
• 1-3+ years of experience in office, business, operations, customer service, or healthcare field
• Operational experience with MD-Staff or other payer enrollment software is preferred
• Experience with delegated roster management for insurance payers is a plus
