Job Summary

Owning the operational and compliance foundation for payer and clinical services, the full-time salaried Payer Operations Associate Director will manage a high-performance team, ensuring smooth onboarding of new payers, maintaining existing operations, and overseeing licensing and credentialing in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the onboarding process for new payers, ensuring timely go-lives and cross-functional collaboration
• Maintain operational efficiency for existing payer operations, proactively addressing issues before they escalate
• Manage licensing and credentialing for clinical services, ensuring all credentials are valid and up-to-date

Required qualifications

• Proven experience running payer operations across multiple contract types or service lines
• Strong knowledge of healthcare licensing and credentialing processes
• Experience managing payer relationships and transitions directly
• Familiarity with multi-state regulatory compliance and its implementation
• Experience managing both commercial and Medicaid payer operations
