Working full-time, the Payment Accuracy COB Specialist will review and analyze claims and member data to identify recoverable claims while utilizing proprietary software tools in a healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities
- Review and analyze claims data to establish the correct order of liability for clients' members
- Utilize Cotiviti audit tools to conduct thorough investigations and document findings accurately
- Prepare responses to client disputes and identify opportunities for process improvements
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred with at least one year of related healthcare experience
- Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly with Coordination of Benefits, is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and perform detailed data analysis
- Familiarity with CMS and NAIC guidelines related to claims processing
