Payment Accuracy Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare recovery team, the full-time Payment Accuracy Specialist 2 will develop and execute audit concepts, train team members, and analyze client data to identify recoverable claims while working under moderate supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new and existing audit concepts and train team members on audit projects
• Conduct audits of client data to identify billing compliance issues and generate high-quality recoverable claims
• Utilize advanced auditing tools and methodologies to analyze complex claims and recommend process improvements

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred with 4-6 years of related healthcare experience
• At least 3-4 years of experience with Cotiviti is recommended for internal candidates
• Strong knowledge of healthcare industry practices, including claim adjustments and reimbursement policies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and previous SQL experience strongly preferred
• Ability to analyze large data sets and identify trends or discrepancies effectively
