Payment Accuracy Specialist
Job Summary
To support a growing healthcare recovery team, the full-time Payment Accuracy Specialist will audit client data, generate recoverable claims, and assist in identifying and documenting audit projects while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Audit client data and generate high-quality recoverable claims while adhering to CMS and NAIC guidelines
- Utilize Cotiviti audit tools and Microsoft Excel to review reports and identify over and under-payments of claims
- Participate in onboarding new hires and contribute to knowledge sharing within the audit team
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2-4 years of related experience in healthcare, with a preference for Medicaid Claims knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong interest in working with large data sets and various databases
- Experience with Cotiviti systems recommended for internal applicants
