Payment Application Specialist

Job Summary

To support efficient financial processes, the full-time Payment Application Specialist will be responsible for posting insurance and patient payments to Epic, balancing these postings to bank deposits, and assisting in the resolution of outstanding deposits, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Processes electronic remittances and initiates transaction postings in Epic
• Balances postings to bank deposits and maintains timely and accurate posting according to departmental goals
• Researches and resolves unidentified or missing payments, collaborating with third-party payors and financial institutions

Required qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• One year of medical billing or medical office experience preferred
• Experience in bookkeeping and cash balancing
