Payment Posting Specialist
Job Summary
Detail-oriented and experienced in healthcare payment posting, the full-time remote Payment Posting Specialist will ensure accurate and timely posting of insurance and patient payments, resolve discrepancies, and support financial operations within a national therapy organization.
Key responsibilities
- Post insurance and patient payments accurately, including electronic and manual payments
- Reconcile daily payment batches and resolve posting discrepancies and unapplied payments
- Collaborate with Billing, Accounts Receivable, and Finance teams to address payment-related issues
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of healthcare payment posting or revenue cycle experience preferred
- Experience with Raintree EMR strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of insurance payments, ERA/EFT processing, and cash reconciliation
- Familiarity with insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and payer portals
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and healthcare billing systems
