Payment Reconciliation Specialist

Job Summary

To support efficient financial operations, the full-time Payment Reconciliation Specialist will manage cash follow-up and posting, call insurance companies, and ensure accurate reconciliation of patient and insurance payments, with opportunities for remote work after six months on-site.

Key responsibilities

• Identifies and imports electronic remittances from contracted third-party payer websites
• Analyzes and processes payments, adjustments, and rejections that were not posted electronically
• Researches and resolves unapplied or unidentified payments in a timely manner

Required qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Proficient PC skills with knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset
• One year of medical cash posting or line item posting preferred
• Good research skills and excellent problem-solving abilities
