Payment Variance Auditor

Job Summary

Reviewing claims and payment information, the full-time Payment Variance Auditor will identify underpayment trends and ensure accurate reimbursement processes while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Utilizes high-volume reports to analyze historical payment information for accuracy in reimbursements
• Identifies potential underpayment trends by comparing managed care contracts with actual reimbursement data
• Communicates findings and collaborates with the management and audit team to pursue and collect underpayments

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of experience with managed care reimbursement and contracts
• Familiarity with ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT Coding, and billing formats
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with MS Office
• Self-motivated with effective communication abilities
