Payment Variance Supervisor

Job Summary

Managing a team of Underpayment Analysts and Follow-up Representatives, the full-time Supervisor, Payment Variance Follow Up will perform payment variance analysis, mentor team members, and ensure operational efficiency in a virtual environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform payment variance analysis to identify trends in underpaid claims and report underpayment and denial trends
• Manage team productivity and conduct internal audits to ensure departmental goals are met
• Develop and mentor team members while providing necessary orientation and support for new and existing employees

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Working knowledge of insurance follow-up and underpayment processes, along with healthcare reimbursement methodologies
• Leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate employees
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business writing
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels
