Payments Product Manager

Job Summary

To drive multi-million dollar improvements in payment economics, the full-time remote Payments Product Manager will define and implement the payments strategy, manage the payment optimization roadmap, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee vendor partnerships for a modern payments platform.

Key responsibilities

• Define strategy and own the roadmap for payment metrics optimization and core system enhancements
• Identify and mitigate regulatory risks while partnering with Legal/Compliance on payment policies
• Manage relationships with key Payment Service Providers (PSPs) and influence commercial outcomes

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in payments, fintech, or financial services
• Strong knowledge of payment processing fundamentals and regulatory concepts in the US
• Proven ability to build and drive a multi-quarter product roadmap
• Experience managing vendor relationships and influencing commercial outcomes
• Ability to produce concise, data-driven communications on complex financial topics
