Payments Product VP

Job Summary

Leading the development of a global payments business, the full-time remote Payments Product VP will define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Sidetrade Pay while managing payment monetization and partner relationships across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end management of Sidetrade Pay, including defining the commercial model and being accountable for payments revenue
• Design pricing and packaging architecture for various payment methods while ensuring a balance between merchant value and Sidetrade margin
• Build a conversion engine to activate the installed base into paying merchants through targeted strategies and enhanced buyer experiences

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in building or scaling an embedded payments business within a B2B SaaS company
• Fluency in card acquiring economics and bank rails such as ACH, SEPA, and real-time payments
• Experience negotiating and managing relationships with payment service providers
• Demonstrated commercial ownership of revenue numbers or P&L for a payments or fintech product line
• Working knowledge of the regulatory landscape across North America, the UK, and the EEA
