Payroll Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and hands-on, the temporary Payroll Accounting Manager will lead global payroll accounting, managing outsourced payroll providers, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and performing month-end close activities, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage outsourced payroll providers across multiple geographies, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing
• Oversee the reconciliation of payroll-related accounts and support compliance with local payroll tax regulations
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate payroll-related audits and respond to employee inquiries

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• At least 7 years of experience in corporate accounting, with a focus on international payroll accounting
• Minimum of 2 years of Big 4 public accounting experience preferred
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes
• Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office and G-Suite
