Payroll Analyst

Job Summary

Providing centralized review and reporting for global payroll operations, the part-time remote Payroll Analyst will focus on reconciling payroll activities, investigating discrepancies, and delivering accurate payroll cost reporting across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities

• Review payroll results and reconcile discrepancies related to employee changes and compensation
• Establish and maintain consolidated global payroll reporting for HR and Finance
• Investigate payroll variances and coordinate with local teams and providers to resolve issues

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in payroll, payroll accounting, or payroll reconciliation
• Strong experience in reviewing payroll registers and identifying discrepancies
• Solid understanding of gross-to-net payroll, employer taxes, and payroll-related costs
• Advanced skills in Excel and/or Google Sheets, including pivot tables and variance analysis
• Ability to analyze payroll data and follow through on discrepancies to resolution
