Payroll Consultant

Job Summary

To support payroll operations across the United States and Canada, the experienced Payroll Consultant will provide payroll management and advisory services on a contract basis, focusing on processing, compliance, data analysis, and issue resolution while collaborating with HR and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
• Oversee payroll software systems, maintaining updates in line with regulatory changes and company policies
• Analyze payroll data to identify trends and discrepancies, generating reports to inform management decisions

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in payroll processing and analysis
• Proficiency in UKG Pro payroll software or similar HRIS platforms
• In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements in the United States and Canada
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
