Job Summary

Leading strategic payroll initiatives, the full-time remote Payroll Operations Project Partner will optimize payroll processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Payroll, HRIS, HR, IT, and business leaders to define payroll requirements and ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives
• Evaluate and enhance payroll processes, systems, and controls to improve accuracy, compliance, and stakeholder experience
• Oversee project planning and governance routines, ensuring accountability and transparency in payroll-related initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in payroll, HR operations, HRIS, or related business processes
• Strong understanding of payroll operations, processing, and related HR processes
• Demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects in complex organizations
• Experience in a multi-state, high-volume payroll environment preferred
