Payroll Program Manager

Job Summary

To support the launch of a new payroll offering, the full-time remote Payroll Program Manager will design onboarding processes, define success metrics, and serve as a senior point of contact for payroll partners while managing a small team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and refine onboarding playbooks, support triage processes, and documentation for the payroll offering
• Define and track key performance metrics, providing regular reports on operational performance to leadership
• Manage relationships with payroll partners and oversee the Implementation Account Manager and Payroll Specialist, addressing escalated issues when necessary

Required qualifications

• 3-5+ years in program/project management, implementation, or customer-facing operations leadership, preferably in fintech, HR tech, or payroll
• Experience in designing processes and playbooks for customer-facing functions
• People management experience or readiness to manage a small team
• Strong communication skills for explaining payroll mechanics to non-experts
• Experience with payroll, benefits, or embedded financial products is a strong plus
