Job Summary
Owning the payroll process from start to finish, the full-time Payroll Specialist will manage multi-state payroll operations, support Workday implementation, and ensure compliance with tax regulations while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle multi-state payroll in Workday, including off-cycle runs and terminations
- Support the final phase of Workday Payroll implementation, including configuration validation and parallel runs
- Register and maintain payroll tax accounts, monitor filings, and assist with quarter- and year-end payroll processes
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of full-cycle payroll experience, including multi-state payroll in the U.S
- Hands-on experience processing payroll in Workday
- Working knowledge of payroll tax rules and wage and hour law
- Experience with payroll GL mapping and reconciliation
- Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets
