Job Summary
Managing the full payroll cycle for hourly and salaried employees, the full-time Payroll Specialist will ensure accurate and compliant payroll operations while working remotely within Aberdeen, NC.
Key responsibilities
- Process payroll for multiple locations, including new hires, terminations, and status changes
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws
- Collaborate with HR to develop payroll process improvements and support audits and reconciliations
Required qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of progressive payroll experience in a multi-location organization
- Demonstrated experience with payroll/HRIS systems and strong knowledge of payroll tax compliance
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- US Citizenship and a valid U.S. driver's license
