Job Summary
Detail-oriented and customer-focused, the full-time remote Payroll Specialist will manage payroll processing for over 2000 employees, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations and maintaining data integrity while collaborating with HR and Finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and support regular payroll activities, ensuring timely and accurate employee payments
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws while assisting with payroll tax reporting and filings
- Audit payroll records and prepare reports, supporting internal and external audits as needed
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll administration or operations experience
- Experience processing payroll in a multi-state environment
- Knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance practices
- Proficiency with payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
