Job Summary
Ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing, the full-time Payroll Specialist will manage payroll for U.S. and Canadian employees, resolve discrepancies, and maintain payroll records while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Process and validate regular and off-cycle payrolls for U.S. and Canadian employees
- Validate payroll taxes and prepare year-end tax reporting, including W-2 and T4 slips
- Reconcile payroll registers and provide payroll support for audits and financial reporting
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Five or more years of payroll experience, including multi-state U.S. and Canadian payroll
- Experience using ADP or comparable enterprise payroll platform
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or comparable payroll credential preferred
- Working knowledge of payroll best practices and U.S. and Canadian payroll requirements
