Supporting payroll operations for a high-volume office, the full-time Payroll Specialist will process payroll for over 10,000 employees while ensuring accuracy and compliance with wage laws in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Process and audit multiple payrolls for the health system, ensuring timely and accurate payroll production
- Respond to payroll and payment inquiries, providing excellent customer service to employees
- Collaborate with a team to maximize efficiency and productivity in a fast-paced environment
Required qualifications
- High School Education or GED
- 3-5 years of payroll experience using an automated time and attendance system
- Current knowledge of Wage and Hour laws in a hospital environment
- Experience with payroll processing for over 8,000 employees
