Payroll Specialist - NJ Licensed
Job Summary
To support payroll operations, the full-time Payroll Specialist - NJ Licensed will process multi-state payroll for over 500 employees, perform payroll calculations, and prepare financial reports while working remotely during EST hours.
Key responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll, including union employees, in Workday
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries in a timely manner
- Prepare financial reports summarizing earnings, tax deductions, and union dues for audits and management requests
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of payroll or data processing experience
- 2+ years of experience with Workday
- 1+ year of customer service experience
- Experience working with multiple unions, preferably in the media industry
- Previous experience with multi-state payroll and HRIS functions
