Job Summary
Owning end-to-end payroll operations for the U.S. and Canada, the part-time Payroll Specialist (US & Canada) will process biweekly payroll, ensure compliance with regulations, and serve as a liaison to employees and vendors in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process biweekly payroll for salaried and hourly employees using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Audit pay records and reconcile totals by department, location, and country while applying pay policies correctly
- Prepare payroll journal entries, complete month-end and year-end reconciliations, and coordinate third-party payroll system upgrades
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of payroll experience with the U.S. and Canada
- Expertise in ADP Workforce Now
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, benefits, reconciliations, and year-end processes
- Payroll certifications (PCP, CPM, FPC, CPP) or an accounting/finance background required
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to advise senior partners on complex matters
