Payroll Supervisor

Job Summary

To lead payroll operations for a growing portfolio of performing arts businesses, the full-time remote Payroll Supervisor will manage a team, ensure accurate processing of payroll across multiple schedules, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop payroll coordinators, setting priorities and reviewing work for accuracy
• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees, including approvals and adjustments
• Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations and oversee reporting and reconciliation with the general ledger

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with core payroll functions, including 2+ years in a supervisory role
• Working knowledge of multi-state payroll and wage-and-hour compliance
• Demonstrated ability to coach and lead a team effectively
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and reconciliations
• Experience with Paylocity is a plus
