Job Summary
As a full-time P&C Product R&D Analyst, the successful candidate will contribute to the strategic direction of the Business Owner's Policy portfolio by conducting 3rd party data research, improving underwriting segmentation, and developing actuarial-based models, with remote work flexibility and occasional travel to headquarters for team events.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis to enhance product offerings and underwriting processes
- Develop and recommend data-driven models for portfolio management and segmentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives and improvements
Required qualifications
- Minimum six years of experience in statistical/quantitative modeling within property & casualty insurance
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with at least three years of relevant analytical experience, or a Master's/PhD in a quantitative field
- Experience with database tools for manipulating large volumes of structured data
- Proficiency in SQL or related statistical programming languages (SAS, R, or Python)
- Demonstrated experience in product, pricing, or actuarial roles within the insurance industry
