PE Electrical Engineer Team Lead
Job Summary
Managing a team of engineers and technicians, the full-time salaried PE Electrical Engineer Team Lead will oversee the completion of electrical engineering projects for utility substations, ensuring quality and efficiency while supporting both local and remote team members.
Key responsibilities
- Leads the design of protection and control packages, including diagrams and specifications
- Coordinates computer-based models and performs power system studies for utility electrical power systems
- Mentors team members and manages their professional development while promoting internal processes for quality improvement
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution
- 8+ years of relevant engineering or field experience
- FE licensure is required; PE licensure is preferred
- Proficiency with power system software such as DIgSILENT/PowerFactory, EasyPower, ETAP, or SKM
- Knowledge of voltage distribution above 240kV and experience with HB Substations for datacenters is ideal
