PE Licensed Energy Engineering Director

Job Summary

To support the growth of a power delivery engineering practice, the remote Director of Energy Infrastructure Engineering will guide business opportunities, cultivate client relationships, and oversee engineering direction for electrical utility and transmission design programs.

Key responsibilities:

• Guide the growth of the engineering practice by connecting business opportunities with technical capabilities
• Lead client presentations and strategic discussions while serving as a trusted technical and business advisor
• Oversee project performance across scope, scheduling, financial management, and quality expectations

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and an active Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Minimum 12 years of relevant engineering experience, with consideration for exceptional candidates with 8 to 10 years
• Proven experience directing utility, power delivery, or electrical transmission engineering initiatives
• Strong technical leadership skills, including engineering oversight and successful project delivery
• Demonstrated ability to develop client relationships and support business development activities
