PE Licensed Lead Transmission Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Transmission Line group, the full-time PE Licensed Lead Transmission Engineer will design high voltage transmission lines using PLS-CADD software, facilitate collaboration among project teams, and act as the primary client contact while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop construction documents for high voltage transmission lines, including project design criteria and detailed drawings
- Coordinate design aspects of projects, estimating construction costs and specifying materials
- Facilitate collaboration between disciplines and project team members while managing client relationships
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
- Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in Transmission Line Engineering
- PE license is required
- Proficiency in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE preferred
- Previous experience working with or for a Utility is highly preferred
