PE Licensed Transmission Line Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a PE Licensed Transmission Line Engineer, the full-time remote position will focus on the design of high voltage transmission lines (69kV-500kV) using PLS-CADD, while collaborating with project teams and clients to develop construction documents and specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Design high voltage transmission lines and develop associated construction documents
- Facilitate collaboration and communication with clients and project team members to determine project scope and requirements
- Estimate construction costs and specify materials while ensuring project design criteria are met
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
- Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience, including 3 years in Transmission Line Engineering or related fields
- PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months is preferred
- Proficiency in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE is preferred
- Experience working with or for a Utility is highly preferred
