PE Studies Engineer
Job Summary
Leading advanced power system analysis in the renewable energy sector, the full-time remote Studies Engineer will manage complex studies, apply specialized software for modeling and analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficient energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-level system studies to support renewable energy projects
- Apply specialized software to model and analyze electrical phenomena
- Serve as technical lead on projects, coordinating with internal teams and clients
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited or equivalent)
- Have or working towards a PE or P.Eng. license
- A minimum of 4 years of working experience, with at least 3 years in power systems
- Proficiency with engineering software: ETAP, Easypower, PSCAD, Polaris, CDEGS, ASPEN Line Constants, TLW-GEN
- Experience working on renewable projects required
