PE Substation Engineering Supervisor

Job Summary

Leading a team of engineers and technicians, the full-time remote PE Substation Engineering Supervisor will manage engineering activities for projects, provide strategic direction and oversight for staff development, and engage in business development efforts to promote service expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Manages and leads all engineering activities during proposal, design, and construction stages of assigned projects
• Provides strategic direction and coaching for substation technical staff, facilitating team meetings and performance reviews
• Participates in business development by collaborating with sales teams and supporting proposal efforts to enhance client relationships

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
• 6+ years of experience in the engineering field preferred
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire is strongly preferred
• Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
• Must have permanent authorization to work in the US
