Job Summary
Providing direct clinical excellence in general pediatrics and supporting NICU families, the full-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CA, GA, TN, TX) will oversee medical care, engage in patient education, and develop care plans for infants transitioning from the NICU while working remotely during evening shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee medical care for pediatric patients and improve clinical outcomes
- Develop care plans for infants in or transitioning from the NICU and provide caregiver health education
- Utilize cross-functional team members to address patient needs and monitor clinical protocols for improvement
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of general pediatric experience as an advanced practice provider
- At least 2 years of nursing experience in level III or IV neonatal intensive care
- Active, unrestricted license to practice in CA, GA, TN, or TX preferred
- Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioner with substantial experience in pediatric primary and/or urgent care
- Experience using data to drive patient engagement and outcomes
