Pediatric Profee Coder
Job Summary
To support a growing pediatric practice, the full-time Pediatric Profee Coder will utilize their expertise in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding to ensure accurate coding of complex professional fee surgical cases while working remotely on a long-term contract basis.
Key responsibilities
- Code complex professional fee surgical cases while adhering to payer-specific guidelines
- Maintain high levels of coding accuracy, productivity, and compliance in all coding tasks
- Utilize Epic and 3M encoder/coding systems effectively for coding processes
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of recent ProFee coding experience
- AHIMA or AAPC certification is required
- Specialty experience in areas such as OB/GYN, Neonatology, Pediatric Hospital Medicine, or Cardiology
- Strong understanding of coding guidelines and regulations
- Experience with coding systems like Epic and 3M
