Penetration Tester
Job Summary
To support cybersecurity initiatives, the remote Penetration Tester will conduct vulnerability assessments, utilize various penetration testing tools, and engage in red and purple team operations while obtaining a Public Trust clearance.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing using tools like Burp Suite and Kali Linux
- Execute red team engagements and collaborate with engineering and CSOC teams on purple team activities
- Develop technical documentation and communicate security vulnerabilities and attack scenarios effectively
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline preferred, or 4 years of relevant work experience
- Prior experience with Burp Suite Professional and other DAST tools
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell
- Experience with penetration testing supporting PCI-DSS compliance
- Recommended penetration testing certifications, such as Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) or GIAC certifications
