Penetration Tester

Job Summary

Executing penetration testing engagements remotely, the full-time Penetration Tester will identify, validate, and manually exploit vulnerabilities across external networks, web applications, and APIs while documenting findings and providing remediation guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute external network, web application, and API penetration testing engagements in accordance with defined scopes and methodologies
• Identify and manually exploit vulnerabilities, evaluating attack paths and their potential business impact
• Compile and write clear client reports detailing findings, risks, and remediation guidance while communicating effectively with clients throughout engagements

Required qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, management information systems, computer science, or a relevant discipline
• 2-5 years of hands-on penetration testing experience in areas such as external, web application, or API penetration tests
• Experience independently executing penetration testing engagements and producing high-quality client deliverables
• Knowledge of established penetration testing methodologies and evidence collection practices
• Preferred certifications include OSCP, eWPT, eWPTX, OSWA, or OSWE
