Penetration Tester

Job Summary

Evaluating the security of authorized systems, the full-time remote Penetration Tester will plan and conduct penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and adversarial simulations while documenting findings and providing remediation recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute authorized penetration tests and vulnerability assessments within approved rules of engagement
• Identify and validate weaknesses in networks, applications, and devices using both manual techniques and approved tools
• Document findings and prepare technical reports, communicating risks and remediation options to stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
• Three or more years of experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, or related work
• Experience with testing networks, applications, and operating systems using approved tools and techniques
• A recognized penetration-testing or ethical-hacking certification preferred
• Experience in government or security-conscious environments preferred
