Penetration Testing Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of penetration testers, the full-time remote Penetration Testing Manager will develop and implement penetration testing strategies, manage program schedules, and provide expert guidance on vulnerability assessments for custom applications.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and integrate penetration testing strategies into the overall AppSec and Vulnerability Management Strategy
• Establish and manage a penetration testing schedule, coordinating with multiple teams to ensure timely execution
• Oversee the performance and development of the penetration testing team, including training and evaluation

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with 12 years of experience in Information Security or technology
• At least one industry-standard certification related to penetration testing and/or cybersecurity leadership (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GPEN)
• Expertise in penetration testing methodologies such as OWASP Top 10 and CREST Pentesting Methodologies
• Experience in program management and vendor management within the cybersecurity domain
• Strong analytical skills to report metrics and identify trends from data sources
