Job Summary
To support a community bank's data foundation assessment, the part-time Pennsylvania Banking Data Analyst will gather requirements from various banking sectors, assess data quality, and document findings while collaborating with the Lead Data Architect and the bank's analytics team, working onsite in Chambersburg, PA as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and facilitate working sessions to capture requirements for a Customer 360 view and document outcomes for future phases
- Assess and profile Critical Data Elements (CDEs) for completeness and consistency, flagging any issues that may impact fair lending
- Build a source inventory and support the maturity scorecard by organizing evidence for existing AI capabilities
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of experience as a data analyst, business analyst, or techno-functional BA, with at least 3 years in banking or financial services
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data profiling for completeness and consistency
- Knowledge of banking data domains, including customer accounts, lending, and wealth management
- Experience facilitating cross-functional requirements sessions and documenting clear use cases
- Familiarity with CRM data, ideally Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, and data movement between systems
