Pennsylvania Coalition Organizer

Job Summary

To support grassroots advocacy efforts, the part-time contract Pennsylvania Coalition Organizer will work remotely, focusing on organizing, coalition building, and empowering local leaders in Pennsylvania to enhance lobbying efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Support network leaders in building relationships with community and faith leaders for advocacy initiatives
• Train and coach network leaders in core organizing skills, including coalition development and outreach strategy
• Provide ongoing coaching to network leaders as they engage and sustain coalitions aligned with advocacy campaigns

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in organizing and coalition development
• Background in working with faith communities
• Ability to train and empower others in advocacy skills
• Strong goal-oriented and self-starting mindset
• Willingness to work with diverse communities and perspectives
