Pennsylvania Licensed Compliance Attorney
Job Summary
Seeking a Pennsylvania Licensed Compliance Attorney for a temporary remote contract role, the successful candidate will manage compliance matters for a publicly traded global corporation, focusing on data privacy, regulatory compliance, and policy implementation.
Key responsibilities:
- Review, draft, and maintain internal and external privacy policies
- Negotiate and draft privacy and data security provisions in commercial agreements
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to navigate complex compliance requirements
Required qualifications:
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 10+ years of compliance experience, with 5-7+ years focused on data privacy and regulatory compliance
- 5+ years of experience in negotiating and drafting privacy provisions in agreements
- Strong understanding of privacy laws and compliance best practices
- IAPP certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPP/E, and/or CIPM are preferred
