Job Summary
To ensure the safe and compliant movement of products, the full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Dispatcher will manage daily transportation planning, routing, and scheduling while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee transportation planning, routing, and scheduling for product movement between various locations
- Make independent decisions on shipment priorities, driver assignments, and real-time routing adjustments
- Manage third-party transportation vendors and ensure compliance with state regulations and METRC requirements
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and inventory tracking systems such as METRC
- Proficiency in routing, GPS tracking, dispatch software, and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work flexible hours and be at least 21 years of age
- Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management skills
